This is a sake brand exclusive to the "Let's Make Sake" subscription service. Originally released in February 2024 as a limited edition in collaboration with Nanbu Bijin, it is now being specially made available for sale through a collaboration with Sake World. Nanbu Bijin is a sake brewery founded in 1902 in Ninohe City, Iwate Prefecture. The company name and brand name originate from the fact that its location was part of the Nanbu Domain (Nanbu region) during the Edo period, and from the idea of comparing the light and refreshing taste of their sake to a beautiful woman. They primarily use sake rice grown in their local Iwate Prefecture, and in addition to their emphasis on high-quality sake brewing using local ingredients, exports, and participation in international competitions, they are also undertaking new initiatives such as having their Nanbu Toji (master brewers) learn and pass on their sake brewing know-how to artificial intelligence (AI).
