This brand is available exclusively through the Let's Sake subscription. It was released in February 2024 in collaboration with Nanbu Bijin, and is now available for special sale in collaboration with Sake World. Nanbu Bijin is a sake brewery founded in 1902 in Ninohe City, Iwate Prefecture. The company and brand names come from the fact that the brewery was located in the Nanbu domain (Nanbu region) during the Edo period, and the light-tasting sake is likened to a beautiful woman. The brewery primarily uses sake rice grown locally in Iwate Prefecture, and in addition to emphasizing high-quality sake brewing that emphasizes local production, exports, and submits to overseas competitions, the brewery is also taking on new initiatives such as using artificial intelligence (AI) to learn and pass on the sake brewing know-how of Nanbu master brewers.
