Choro Sake Brewery, the only small sake brewery in Kyotamba Town, was founded in 1903. They use pure groundwater from Mt. Choro, which is selected as one of the 100 Famous Mountains of Kansai, and brew their sake by hand with a small team of people. Their "Choro Tan" sake, brewed with local water and local rice, is known as a 100% Kyotamba local sake. Furthermore, their "Choro Josen" has received an award at the Osaka Regional Taxation Bureau Sake Appraisal Competition, and their reputation is growing year by year.
