Founded over 400 years ago, this long-established sake brewery has been making its living at the foot of Mount Ikoma in Nara, Japan's ancient capital, and has been in business for 19 generations since its founding, Ueda Sobei. With Mount Ikoma at the border between Osaka and Nara as its backdrop, and blessed with a beautiful climate and environment, the brewery continues to produce sake under the motto of "cherishing traditional methods while exploring modern styles."
