Founded in 1864 (Genji 1), Hana no Mai Sake Brewery has arrived at the idea of brewing sake using 100% rice grown in Shizuoka Prefecture. Based on the techniques and spirit established by our predecessors, we create new value in sake. The name comes from "Hana no Mai," one of the votive dances that has been handed down since ancient times in the Tenryu River system. "Hana" represents the rice flower, which is the source of life, and is a prayer for a bountiful harvest.
