Founded in 1864 (Genji 1), Hananomai Sake Brewery has arrived at the art of sake brewing using 100% rice from Shizuoka Prefecture. Based on the techniques and spirit established by their predecessors, they are creating new value for Japanese sake. The name comes from "Hana no Mai," one of the votive dances that has been passed down since ancient times in the Tenryu River system. "Hana" represents the rice flower, which is the sustenance of life, and it is a prayer for a bountiful harvest.
