"Amefuri /// Afuri" is a new brand announced in 2021. The brewery is located at the foot of Mt. Oyama (Amefuriyama) in Tanzawa, and uses underground water as brewing water. The nutrient-rich hard water results in a satisfying sake. Overseas, it is highly regarded as a sake with a high level of "minerality." The brewers are united in their challenge to create sake that is unconventional, such as sake made without polishing the rice and sake that adds a modern twist to the classic moto.
