"Amefuri ///Afuri" is a new brand announced in 2021. The brewery is located at the foot of Mt. Oyama in Tanzawa, and uses underground water as the brewing water. The hard water is rich in nutrients, which makes for a satisfying sake. Overseas, it is highly regarded as a sake with high "minerality." The brewers are working together to create sake that is not bound by convention, such as sake that does not require grinding the rice and sake that adds a modern twist to the classical moto.
