Founded in the early Meiji era, this sake brewery is located at the uppermost reaches of the Ibigawa River, one of the three Kiso Rivers. Since 2000, the current 5th generation brewery owner has launched the "Bojimaya" brand, continuing to produce junmai sake characterized by its umami and acidity. They offer a range of unique products, including "Junmai Unfiltered Raw Sake," "Junmai Extra Dry," and the "Tokoro BLACK Series." Aiming to be a small but impactful brewery, they continue to produce sake that is distinctive yet never gets old.
