Our sake brewing tradition dates back approximately 200 years to the 9th year of the Bunsei era (1826). We are blessed with the abundant water resources of the clear Kiso River, fertile land, high-quality rice, and the cold winds of the Ibuki-oroshi that blow during the coldest part of winter when sake brewing takes place. Our sake is characterized by its softness, slightly sweet taste, and refreshing finish, achieved through the use of soft water. Furthermore, by selling high-quality sake at reasonable prices, we hope that as many people as possible will come to understand the goodness of Japanese sake.
