Since the Meiji era, Daimon Sake Brewery has been loved by many people for its "Kikuyoro" brand. Then, 40 years ago, when we started brewing ginjo sake, we wanted to provide it to everyone with a name that would be appropriate for its flavor, and so, inspired by the flowers that bloom in the brewery's garden, we named it "Rikyu Ume" (Rikyu Plum) in the hope of achieving a flavor that would lead to the world of wabi-sabi. Please enjoy it to your heart's content, while recalling the elegant atmosphere of old Katanogahara.
