"Sora no Tsuru" (Crane in the Sky) is a sake born from the dream of soaring through the sky on a beautiful crane. The sake brewery of Sora no Tsuru is located in the western part of Akashi City, Hyogo Prefecture, overlooking the Harima Sea, which is blessed with abundant seafood, along the charming Saigoku Kaido road. Founded in 1716, Saikai Shuzo has maintained its "unique quality and history" for over 300 years. The current owner is the ninth generation, Saikai Tahei, and together with the tenth generation, they have established an integrated system of sake brewing that makes the most of the local environment, from rice cultivation and milling to brewing and sales.
