Founded in 1753 in Toyomura Noda, Fukui Prefecture (now Sabae City), this brewery is dedicated to brewing sake that reflects the local climate and culture, using only rice grown in Fukui Prefecture. Their flagship brand, "Kashoku," is named after the "Kashoku no Ten," a celebratory phrase used to congratulate the bride and groom on their marriage to Emperor Taisho. While using only Gohyakumangoku rice from Fukui Prefecture, they offer a variety of flavors. Since 2020, they have also been actively producing sparkling sake using their unique methods and other products made with special techniques. Their appeal lies in their original sake, created with free-thinking ideas rather than being bound by traditional methods.
