Our brewery was founded in 1866, during the late Edo period when Tokugawa Yoshinobu became the 15th Shogun, in the Owada district of Fukui City. We have a history of approximately 150 years, and the current owner is the 5th generation. In recent years, with the diversification of alcoholic beverages, there are concerns that young people are moving away from sake, but it is precisely now that we want people to discover the enjoyment of sake. "We firmly inherit tradition and constantly take on challenges to please our customers"—we believe that this is the mission required of sake brewing going forward.
