Our brewery was founded in the Owada district of Fukui City in 1866, the second year of the Keio era, at the end of the Edo period, when Tokugawa Yoshinobu became the 15th Shogun. With a history of about 150 years, the current owner is the fifth generation. In recent years, with the diversification of alcoholic beverages, there are concerns that young people are turning away from sake, but now more than ever we want people to discover the joy of sake. We believe that the mission required of sake brewers in the future is to "firmly inherit traditions and continue to take on challenges to please our customers."
