Naminone Sake Brewery and Tanaka Sake Brewery in Shiga Prefecture. Located on either side of Lake Biwa, the two brewers were both born on February 6th, 1970! The two, who share the same age and birthday, have joined forces to release a limited edition collaboration sake in April 2024. On February 6th, their 54th birthdays, each brewer simultaneously brewed a Junmai Daiginjo using the same variety of rice (Yamada Nishiki) and the same yeast (1401 yeast). Under the same conditions, the only difference is the water and the skill of the toji brewer! This is a two-bottle set that allows you to compare the sake from these two breweries.
