Shiga Prefecture's Naminone Brewery and Tanaka Brewery. Located across Lake Biwa from each other, both breweries were founded on February 6th, 1970! Sharing the same age and birthday, these two breweries joined forces to release a limited-edition collaboration sake in April 2024. On February 6th, their respective 54th birthdays, they simultaneously brewed Junmai Daiginjo sake using the same rice variety (Yamada Nishiki) and the same yeast (1401 yeast). Under identical conditions, the only differences were the water and the skill of the brewmaster! This two-bottle set allows you to compare the sakes from both breweries.
