Founded in 1903, "Sonno" was released in 1933. It was then established as the Sonno brewery's brand. During the Heisei era, when sake sales were stagnant, sake brewers across the country were caught up in the trend, but they found a way forward by focusing on "local" sake brewing. They developed a new brand using local rice, local brewers, and pure local love. They have further evolved their mainstream brand "Sonno" in their pursuit of authentic flavors. They aim to inherit a historic brand and never stagnate, while providing sake suited to the new era.
