It is a prestigious brewery that has won 15 gold medals at the National New Sake Tasting Competition. It has been two years since it began competing in junmai sake competitions. In the 2022 brewing year, it won its first gold medal for junmai daiginjo. The brewery uses underground water from the Seri River in the Suzuka Mountains, which has a hardness of 180 mg/L but is similar to soft water in terms of components other than calcium. Using the characteristics of the water as a base for sake with a light and clean taste, the brewery produces a wide lineup of local sake that is familiar to locals, from junmai daiginjo to regular sake.
