According to documents remaining from our family's sake trade, our family was founded in 1695 (Genroku 8). This was around the time when Hida came under direct control of the shogunate and the shogunate ordered the destruction of Takayama Castle. Since the family originally lived in Ishikawa Prefecture, the store's name was "Kagaya," and the "Kagaya" is even dyed in the curtain at the entrance. The current head of the family is the 16th generation of the long-established store. The brand's name, "Ryomen Sukuna," is a legendary figure with two faces and four limbs. Behind his calm expression, his face harbors anger. "Ryomen Sukuna," who appeared in Hida in ancient times, is shrouded in much mystery.
