Founded in 1884, the brewery's brands are "Toyonoume" and "Tosakinzo". The brewery is located in Akaoka-cho, a small town in Konan City, Kochi Prefecture, blessed with the natural surroundings of the sea, mountains, and rivers. Although small, this town is very unique, hosting national festivals such as the Dorome Festival and the Ekin Festival. The fifth and sixth generations of the brewery are taking on the challenge of creating a new local sake for the Reiwa era that allows you to experience Tosa. The four key points they focus on are: 1) ingredients from Kochi, 2) meticulous handcrafting, 3) rich individuality, and 4) refined quality. They use different Kochi yeasts to propose four types of sake with different aromas.
