Located in Katano-no-Sato, on the border between Osaka, Kyoto, and Nara, this small-scale sake brewery has been handed down for generations since the end of the Edo period, with an annual production of about 500 koku. Approximately 90% of the total production volume is designated-name sake, and 40% of that is released from the brewery as "genshu", so we are particular about "genshu" and work hard every day to make sake. Thanks to the abundant underground water of the Ikoma Mountains, high-quality sake rice mainly from the local Kansai area, and above all, the outstanding teamwork of the craftsmen and employees including Nanbu Toji and Hamada Yoshihide, we have won six awards at the National New Sake Tasting Competition from 2002 to 2018 and 2020, and the prestigious "Gold Award" 11 times from 2005 to 2017, 2019, 2020, and 2021. (As of April 1, 2024) Our motto is to deliver our sake to customers in the best possible condition, from production to storage, bottling, product management, and shipping.
