Founded in 1901 (Meiji 34). Brewed using water from their own well, which is fed by underground water from Mt. Ishizuchi, the highest mountain in western Japan. They do not employ a master brewer, and the sake is carefully brewed by three family members, including siblings, on a small scale so that everyone can keep an eye on everything. The sake's name, "Jukishin," was named by the first generation Sudo Jusuke with the hope that "it would be a happy occasion where people could share a lot of sake together."
