Founded in 1805 in Takahama, Ishioka City, Ibaraki Prefecture. The name was chosen with the hope that people would enjoy the sake while admiring the beautifully blooming chrysanthemums during the time when the new sake has matured over the summer, becoming smoother and more mellow.
