Kiyoizumigawa was founded in 1875 and was named Kiyoizumigawa because it was brewed using water from a nearby spring. The brewery is located on the shores of the Sea of Japan, where cold winds blow in, and in the harsh wind and snow, it nurtures exquisite sake quality and flavor with unparalleled individuality. All of the sake is brewed by hand to refine the quality of the sake.
