Kiyoizumikawa was founded in 1875 and was named after the water from a nearby spring that was used for brewing. The brewery is located on the shores of the Sea of Japan, where cold winds blow, and the harsh wind and snow nurture the exquisite quality and flavor of the sake, backed by unparalleled individuality. All of the sake is brewed by hand, with the aim of refining the quality of the sake.
