Shinshu Takato is known as the best place in the country for cherry blossoms, and is a place with a long history along with beautiful nature. We were founded in 1866 (2nd year of the Keio era) at the end of the Edo period in this town that flourished as a castle town and developed as the political and economic center of the region. For about 150 years since then, we have walked with the region, watching over many events and carefully preserving traditions. Just as the cherry blossoms planted at the site of Takato Castle when the feudal domains were abolished and prefectures were established continue to fascinate people, we too will be close to the future of the region and weave a new history.
