Founded in 1923, this sake brewery is a local brewery in Yonezawa, the castle town of the Uesugi clan, and is committed to traditional sake brewing methods using the cold winter brewing method that takes advantage of the snowy Yonezawa location. From washing the brewing rice with their bare hands to sticking labels on the sake, the entire sake brewing process is carried out by hand, with great care by craftsmen.
