Founded in Arima in the mid-Edo period, the brewery moved to Mikage-go, one of the Nada Gogo districts, during the third generation's reign. The brewery was destroyed in the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake in 1995 (Heisei 7), and brewing was suspended. However, 12 years later, in 2007 (Heisei 19), home brewing resumed. At that time, a new brand was born, bearing the name "Sensuke," a name passed down by successive generations of heads of the family. Brewing water is sourced from underground waters of Mount Ichino in the Rokko Mountains, and the raw rice is 100% Yamadanishiki and other Hyogo Prefecture-grown rice. In addition to Junmai Daiginjo and Daiginjo, the brewery offers a variety of flavors and tastes, depending on the season, including specially brewed sake and unfiltered unpasteurized sake. The brewery won the Excellence Award in the Ginjo Sake category at the 2023 Osaka Regional Taxation Bureau Sake Appraisal.
