Founded in Arima in the mid-Edo period, the brewery moved to Mikage-go, one of the Nada Gogo districts, during the third generation. The brewery was burned down in the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake in 1995 (Heisei 7) and was closed, but 12 years later in 2007 (Heisei 19), home brewing resumed. At that time, a new brand was born, bearing the name "Sensuke," which has been passed down by successive generations of heads of the family. The brewery uses underground water from Mt. Ichino in the Rokko Mountains, and the raw rice is 100% Yamada Nishiki and other rice grown in Hyogo Prefecture, and is carefully brewed. In addition to Junmai Daiginjo and Daiginjo, they offer a variety of sakes with different tastes and flavors depending on the season, such as specially brewed sake and unfiltered raw sake. They won the Excellence Award in the Ginjo Sake category at the Osaka Regional Taxation Bureau Sake Appraisal in 2023.
