The brand "Kouden" utilizes the sake brewing techniques cultivated since the company's founding in 1832 (Tenpo 3), and is committed to using 100% Yamada Nishiki rice from Kyoto Prefecture, grown in contracted fields. Delicious rice grown organically with reduced pesticides is ideal for sake brewing, and when it met with ultra-soft water for brewing, "Kouden" was born. This sake makes the most of the rice's natural flavor, and is delicious enough to impress even the most discerning sake connoisseurs.
