Product description
This daiginjo has the most gorgeous ginjo aroma of any of the Hokkoku Kaido brands, with a clean, dry finish. This daiginjo is appreciated by both sake beginners and sake lovers. The characters on the label for Hokkoku Kaido are in the Hakushu-sho-tai style, which has been handed down since the Edo period (1603-1868). The design of the label is based on an old map depicting the Omi region. It comes in a wooden box, making it ideal for gift-giving.

Story
Hokkokukaido [Yamaji Sake Brewery]
This brewery has been brewing sake along the Hokkoku Kaido road for over 490 years. The sake brand name is derived from the road's name. It is said to have been founded two years before the birth of Oda Nobunaga. Located in a place that was a stage for the Sengoku period, this is a superb sake that we hope you will enjoy while reflecting on the history of the Sengoku warlords.
