Product description
A light pink awa sake made using red yeast, the world's first awa sake of the rosé type. Red yeast requires careful brewing methods and precise temperature control to achieve fermentation, resulting in a beautiful pink hue. The sake is aged at low temperatures after secondary fermentation, trapping fine bubbles that rise in elegant streams. It has a sweet, rich aroma reminiscent of ripe strawberries, and the fine bubbles create a delicate acidity and a mellow taste.

Story
Kikuizumi [Takizawa Sake Brewery]Founded in 1860 in Ogawamachi, Saitama Prefecture. In 1900, seeking the advantage of the location and water, the brewery was built along the Nakasendo road at Fukaya-juku. Since then, with its symbolic brick chimney over 20 meters tall, it has long been loved as Fukaya's local sake. In 2007, the sixth-generation head of the family, Takizawa Hideyuki, took over from the previous master Nanbu Toji and became Toji himself. Building on the traditions that have been passed down, the brewery continues to take on new challenges while incorporating new techniques and values. It advocates innovation in hand-made brewing, and in recent years has focused on developing authentic sparkling sake.
