Product description
Not only the color, but also the taste is so sweet and sour that it is hard to believe it is sake. It has a fruity taste as if it contains plum or acerola juice, a soft and light smoothness, and a low alcohol content, making it popular among those who do not usually drink sake and those who like fruit sake. The pink color of the sake is naturally produced by the action of red sake yeast (pink yeast), and no coloring agents are used.

Story
Hanagami [Utsunomiya Brewery]
Hanagami is a pink sake that got its name after the fourth-generation brewery owner, Shigeaki Utsunomiya, wrote a letter to Ryotaro Shiba, expressing his heartfelt desire to name this flower-colored sake after the novel "Hanagami," and received a handwritten postcard in return from Shiba. The novel "Hanagami" tells the story of Masujiro Omura, a patriot of the Meiji Restoration, and Ine Kusumoto, the daughter of Siebold. The brewery's location is also connected to the novel, as Ine trained as a doctor under Keisaku Ninomiya, a disciple of Siebold, in Unomachi, where the brewery is located.
