Product description
A robust dry Junmai Genshu brewed by polishing the selected sake rice "Hida Homare" down to 58% and using pure natural water from Hida Takayama. This is the spiciest sake from our brewery. A weighty and authentic dry Junmai Genshu, it pairs well with oily Chinese dishes and richly flavored Japanese cuisine like miso dishes (oyster stew, grilled meat).

Story
Onikoroshi [Oita Sake Brewery]
Founded in 1720 (during the Kyoho era of the Edo period), the company has been producing dry sake for a long time. The dry sake that they have been particular about since their founding continues to be loved by locals as "Oita no Onikoroshi." The meaning of "Onikoroshi" is that it is a dry sake that is strong enough to drive away demons, and also to remove the evil that lurks within humans. The label depicts Shoki, the god who protects against epidemics, slaying a demon. When you want to drive away the demons in your heart, or when you want to drink something to feel refreshed, be sure to toast with "Onikoroshi."
