Product description
A robust dry Junmai Genshu brewed by polishing the selected sake rice "Hida Homare" down to 58% and using pure natural water from Hida Takayama. This is the spiciest sake from our brewery. A weighty and authentic dry Junmai Genshu, it pairs well with oily Chinese dishes and richly flavored Japanese cuisine like miso dishes (oyster stew, grilled meat).

Story
Onikoroshi [Ota Sake Brewery]
Founded in 1720 (during the Edo Kyoho era), this brewery has been producing dry sake for a long time. The dry sake they have been committed to since their founding has been loved by locals as "Ota no Onikoroshi" (Ota's Demon Killer). The meaning of "Onikoroshi" is that it is a sake so dry that it can even defeat demons, and it also represents the removal of evil thoughts lurking within people. The label depicts Shoki, the god who wards off plagues, defeating a demon. When you want to vanquish the demons in your heart, or when you want to drink something to lift your spirits, please try toasting with "Onikoroshi".
