Product description
Made with the rare "Isehikari" rice, a strain that survived two devastating typhoons in the rice fields of Ise Shrine. Known for its resilience and rich flavor, this rice produces a junmai daiginjo with a gentle mouthfeel and a harmonious blend of sweetness and acidity.

Story
Harada [Hatsumomiji Co., Ltd.]
Founded in 1819 (Bunsei 2), Hatsumomiji is a sake brewery in Yamaguchi Prefecture that is celebrating its 205th year this year. With the slogan "The seasons of Japan can be enjoyed through sake," they aim to create sake that allows people to enjoy the seasons reflected in their drinks. All the rice used in their sake brewing is from Yamaguchi Prefecture. It is a pure rice sake that is native to Yamaguchi and made with locally sourced ingredients. With the desire to deliver a fresh taste of freshly pressed sake at all times, they practice year-round brewing. Sake brewing was temporarily suspended in 1985 (Showa 60), but resumed in 2003 (Heisei 15), and with the desire to cherish the connections with their ancestors, they started the brand "Harada."
