Story
Kitsune [Kasen Brewery]
A sake of joy and gratitude is born! Kitsune is a new brand launched by Kasen Brewery in April 2022, amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Tsuwano's Taikodani Inari Shrine is one of Japan's five major Inari shrines. Foxes have been worshipped since ancient times as messengers of Uka no Mitama no Kami (the god of bountiful harvests), the main deity enshrined at Inari Shrine. The character for Kitsune (kitsune) embodies the desire to "add luster to the 290-year history of our brewery and the many people who have supported us." A delicious sake that will have you feeling as if you've been tricked by a fox. This is the sake that marks the start of a new journey for Kasen.
