Story
Kitsune [Kasen Sake Brewery]
A sake of joy and gratitude is born! Kitsune is a new brand born from Hanasen Brewery in April 2022, amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. Tsuwano Taikodani Inari Shrine is one of Japan's five major Inari shrines. Foxes have been revered since ancient times as messengers of Ukanomitama-no-kami (the god of abundant harvests), the principal deity of Inari shrines. The characters for Kitsune (fox) embody the wish to "add splendor to the brewery's history of over 290 years and to bring joy to many." A delicious sake that feels like you've been tricked by a fox. This is the sake that marks Hanasen's new journey.
